The Itamarary Palace, which is used for formal events involving foreign dignitaries, is probably the most beautiful of Niemeyer’s buildings in Brasilia, intimately intertwined with Burle Marx’s exterior and interior gardens. And you can get to go round (but unfortunately not photograph most of) its alternately cool and minimal and decorated and art-stuffed interior spaces.
